Purple Marketing is a one-stop shop for all your marketing needs

I set up Purple Marketing in 2008 to give you all the marketing services you need in one place, saving you time, stress and money.

I learned about marketing during 12 years at Cunard, Ever Ready and Ladbrokes, followed by 20 years helping to run advertising, design and marketing agencies, and looking after clients as diverse as Barclays, Orange, TGI Fridays, Wembley Stadium, Scottish Amicable, The Teenage Cancer Trust and many others.

Now my focus is on delivering value to organisations big or small, from globally renowned business schools to therapists and charities, from professional firms to start-ups.

Common to all of these has been the need to communicate effectively, in a language that is appropriate, in a way that is cost-effective, and in a manner that delivers a return on investment.

Purple is dedicated to pragmatic marketing – there are no gimmicks for the sake of it – we simply deliver impactful solutions that work. Service is everything in business, so we try to be an extension of your own marketing resource.

Based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, we typically work with clients in Hatfield, Barnet, Enfield, Watford, St Albans and Hemel Hempstead, as well as London, the Home Counties, the UK and overseas.

I like to keep things simple, so my aim can be summed up in one sentence… I want to help improve your bottom line, and enable you to spend more time doing what you enjoy.

For some people, that may be more time for working ‘in the business’ rather than ‘on it’.
For others, it might be about spending more time at home, with the family, or on the golf course.

But whatever your passions, Purple Marketing wants to help you enjoy them.

To find out how, call me on 07710 723532 or e-mail jem@purple-marketing.net

I look forward to hearing from you.

Jeremy Silverstone

In the third person: Jeremy Silverstone, Managing Director of Purple Marketing Communications

Jeremy has been a member of the Institute of Direct Marketing, and of the International Advertising Association. He has lectured to the CIPD and the Institute of Management, and chaired a Marketing Week conference on Integrated Marketing.

He has lectured in marketing and copywriting at the University of Hertfordshire’s Business School.

When interviewed on Sky News, commenting on Government communications proposals, he was described as a ‘Marketing Expert’, although that was before the broadcast, rather than after it!

With a face that was essentially designed for radio, in his ‘spare time’, Jeremy also helps to run a Greenpeace group, a brain cancer charity, a veterans football League, and – though he says so himself – makes a mean bread & butter pudding. His loves include his family, London, Spurs, music, travelling, quizzes, cinema & theatre, cooking and eating, adrenaline, keeping our planet beautiful, helping those less fortunate and living life to the full.

His dislikes include: rude and aggressive people; arrogance; unnecessary loudness; drivers who don’t signal, or who drive in the middle lane, or who drive with their foglights on when it’s clear; bad service; deception; laziness; misogynistic rappers; the mere thought of eating oysters or snails; improper use of the English language… and intolerance of any kind.

When he dies, he wants his ashes divided amongst his favourite places: the north side of Waterloo Bridge (the best view in the world), Borough Market, White Hart Lane, Lord’s Cricket Ground, and on the hill overlooking the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
